We won a competition to build a temporary installation to be placed in the Lifecycle Building Center in Atlanta, to be placed there over summer of 2013. Our installation was a large experimental harp, where two intersecting structures dance around one another being held together by a 10’x40’ structure. In between these structures are hundreds of harp strings (652 to be exact) which are made from different gauges and tunings. The idea was for visitors to interact with the harp and let the industrial warehouse space (which has a lot of reverberating surfaces) act as a resonating chamber to sound the musical notes. This installation was built in May of 2013 and taken down in July of 2013.
