Lusail Consultants approached us to redesign the facades for their Marina Mix Twin Tower Development. We found the way the form was situated to be quite rigid and the modulation of the windows in the tower to be rather monotonous - but we used to our advantage in the design to create a balanced rhythm and datum which we them centered our composition upon. Our design is predicated on the location of the balconies, which are formed as a series of interlocking ribbons that circulate the building to create the dynamism and rhythmic variation that it needed.
